Roads, bridges and civil structures need concrete compacted right through — full density in dense rebar and level slabs that take years of load.
Civil structures don't forgive voids in the concrete. Lievers' high-frequency pokers and vibrating beams drive energy deep into heavily reinforced sections and strike slabs level — designed and built in the Netherlands for the heaviest work.

High-frequency pokers
High frequency drives air out of massive elements fast. LHF/HS with an HFO converter, or LHF-E/HS-ER with an integrated inverter.

On civil structures the rebar can be so dense that an ordinary poker can't keep up. The LHF/HS high-frequency pokers work faster and finer, pulling air out of the toughest sections.


On the jobsite

Dense rebar and stiff, low-slump mixes trap air that a standard poker can struggle to reach. The LHF/HS high-frequency pokers still run 12,000 vibrations a minute but in a slimmer bottle — from Ø36 mm — that slips between bars, with an effective compaction diameter up to 100 cm on the largest Ø65 head, so the concrete reaches full density even in the densest sections.
Yes, unless you pick the integrated-inverter models. LHF and HS pokers pair with an HFO or the electronic HFO-E converter (up to 5.3 kVA, with no rotating parts to wear out), while the LHF-E and HS-ER versions carry the inverter inside the tool, so they run straight off a 230V supply with nothing extra to carry.
The battery P18Li runs cordless in the field for about 45 minutes per charge (roughly 25 m³ of compaction) with two batteries in the box, and the petrol P14B carries a Honda GX-35 engine in a 10 kg backpack frame for full-shift independence with no cable. Where power is available, pair the electric P14E with an HFO-E converter instead.
Both strike off and compact a bay in one pass — the choice comes down to bay width and throughput. The DTA super-beam screed covers 3.2 to 7.2 m lengths with up to 200 mm of vibration penetration at 3,000 rpm, using a stressing bar to hold level across the span; the DTR is the simpler, ruggeder option where you don't need the extra features. We'll help you match it to your bay.
